Springfield History Exhibits

This exhibition highlights the department stores and specialty shops that made Springfield the largest and best shopping destination in Western Massachusetts during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Memorabilia and photographs from stores such as D. H. Brigham, Haynes & Company, Forbes & Wallace, Steiger’s, and Johnson’s Bookstore are featured.
