Horse Power to Fuel: Springfield’s Highways and Airways

This lecture will cover a variety of later developments in transportation in Springfield. The invention of the gas-powered vehicle will also be discussed. The landscape of the city changed as roadways were installed, and some communities were accessible by trolley and some by automobiles.
