Dinosaurs are Back!

A pack of moving, roaring prehistoric creatures will invade the Springfield Science Museum from Feb. 10 through May 13 in the exhibition Life Through Time: Dinosaurs and Ice Age Mammals.

The Springfield Science Museum's large rooftop telescope will be open for public sky-gazing on Friday, Feb. 2, at 7:30 p.m. The featured speaker will be Springfield Stars Club President Jack Megas, who will present "The Stars and Constellations of Winter."

The Springfield Museums' Weekend Family Fun series will continue on Sunday, January 14, with "Whodunit? A Museum Mystery," an evening event from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Springfield Science Museum.

The Springfield Science Museum's large rooftop telescope will be open for public sky-gazing on Friday, January 5, at 7:30 p.m. The featured speaker will be Springfield Stars Club vice president Michael Kozicki, who will preview the most striking celestial objects and events of 2007, including a total lunar eclipse that will occur on March 3.

The Springfield Science Museum's large rooftop telescope will be open for public sky-gazing on Friday, December 1, at 7:30 p.m. In addition, Edward Faits, former Springfield Stars Club president, will present a show titled "From the Human Eye to the Hubble Space Telescope: Humanity's View of the Heavens."
