The Springfield Museums' Weekend Family Fun series will continue on Saturday, Feb. 10, with a day of dinosaur activities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Springfield Science Museum. The event will celebrate the opening of Life Through Time: Dinosaurs & Ice Age Mammals, a display of huge, roaring robotic creatures.


Award-winning musician David Polansky entertains with fun, factual songs about prehistoric creatures, 11:30 a.m. & 2 p.m., Museum of Fine Arts auditorium.

Ongoing activities:
Meet a paleontologist and friend as they roam the Science Museum, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Make a "stencil-a-saurus," 11:30 a.m.-3:45 p.m., Art Discovery Center, George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum.
Have a quick lunch at the Family Fun Snack Bar.
Play games and watch movies in the Dinosaur Lounge, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Science Museum.
Make your own dinosaur puzzle, 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Science Museum.
Enjoy Family Science Adventures demonstrations, 12:30-3:45 p.m., Science Museum.
