Artist Arthur Tait produced a series of prints for Currier & Ives that documented the transformation of hunting into the sport of gentlemen, complete with new, luxurious trappings. American Hunting Scenes. "A Good Chance," shows two hunters in a canoe, one paddling while the other fires his rifle at a moose on shore. The scene is set in the Adirondack Mountains.
