Discover the imagination and creativity of Springfield native Theodor Geisel—better known as Dr. Seuss! The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum brings his stories, characters, and lifelong connection to Springfield to life through interactive experiences for visitors of all ages.
The fully bilingual (English and Spanish) first floor invites families to play with words, explore rhymes, create stories, and discover how Geisel changed the way children learn to read. Upstairs, explore a recreation of his studio and living room featuring his actual furniture and art materials, along with never-before-seen artwork, family photographs, letters, and beloved personal objects, including his childhood stuffed dog, Theophrastus.
