W45. The Christian Science Mapparium & Boston Symphony Orchestra

Located within the Christian Science Publishing Society, the Mary Baker Eddy Library is a cultural institution and museum featuring the Mapparium with its 30-foot stained glass globe offering a unique, inside view of the world. Enjoy a guided tour of this building prior to a group lunch at the BSO Symphony Café. Orchestra seating is reserved for our BSO concert featuring Garrick Ohlsson pianist: Overture to Rienzi by Wagner; Piano Concerto by Dello Joio and Symphony No. 15 by Shostakovich. En route, enjoy an enlightening lecture on the music on the program by Guy McLain, Director of the Wood Museum of Springfield.
