W25. Watercolor Intensive Workshop

This intensive workshop will cover how to develop the initial sketch for a watercolor study through the completion of a painting. We’ll explore a variety of watercolor techniques, including brush handling, color and composition. Individual attention will be provided according to specific needs. The class will begin with a step-by-step watercolor demonstration and conclude with an individual analysis and discussion of each participant’s work. Previous drawing experience is recommended. Please bring a brown bag lunch.

Supplies: Beginning students: All materials for the first class will be provided courtesy of Canson, Inc. All others: Please bring your watercolor supplies.

Refund Policy: Full refunds are given for classes which are canceled by the museums. If you must withdraw from a class one week before the first class, you can receive a full refund (less a $15 registration fee). If you withdraw 6 days to 24 hours before your first class, you are still entitled to a 50 percent refund (less the $15 registration fee). After that time, no refunds or credits will be issued.
