July Museums à la Carte Programs

The Springfield Museums at the Quadrangle will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in July. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. in the Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts.
July 1 - Bringing E Home: Transatlantic Voyage of Schooner Ernestina, 1982; Stephan J. W. Platzer, Ph.D.
July 8 - Things You Might Not Know about Springfield; Peter Quirk, lecturer
July 15 - Trumpet Greats; Vincent Cassotta, musician, A Touch of Jazz
July 22 - Sitar Recital; Robert Markey, artist and musician
July 29 - How Art Made the World, Part Four: Once Upon a Time; DVD presentation
Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market. Visitors are invited to bring lunch to enjoy during the program; cookies and coffee are provided.
