May Museums à la Carte Programs

The Springfield Museums at the Quadrangle will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in May. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. in the Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts.
May 7 - The Impressionists: Georges Seurat; DVD presentation from the series The Great Artists: Their Lives, Times, and Work.
May 14 - Images of Nature: Land, Sea & Air; Norman Halpern, M.D.
May 21 - Inspired Strokes: Impressionist Art in the Springfield Museums; Gloria Russell, art historian and critic.
May 28 - The Natural History of the Brazilian Amazon; Sonya Vickers, Springfield Naturalists Club, group travel leader.
Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market. Visitors are invited to bring lunch to enjoy during the program; cookies and coffee are provided.
