The Springfield Museums at the Quadrangle will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in September. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. in the Michele and Donald D'Amour Museum of Fine Arts.
Sept. 4 - Monet's Gardens: An Adventure for Your Eyes and Mind; Ivan MacDonald, lecturer and photographer
Sept. 11 - An Afternoon of Spanish and Latin Guitar; Lorena Garay, guitarist
Sept. 18 - The Lewis Hine Project: Tracking the Lives of Child Laborers Photographed 100 Years Ago; Joseph Manning, author and historian
Sept. 25 - The New Reality: The Frontier of Realism in the 21st Century; Julia Courtney, assistant curator of art, Springfield Museums
Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market. Visitors are invited to bring lunch to enjoy during the program; cookies and coffee are provided.
