The Springfield Museums' Family Fun series will continue with "Night of the Disappearing Moon," a special evening program on Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Springfield Science Museum. The event has been scheduled in conjunction with a total lunar eclipse and will be held rain or shine.

Admission to the program is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 3-17 (including Springfield residents). Admission for museum members is $4 for adults and $2 for ages 3-17.

Family Fun programs are sponsored by T.D. Banknorth.

Make out-of-this-world astronomy crafts; 6-8 p.m.
Discover Legends of Eclipses in with museum astronomer Richard Sanderson in the planetarium; 6:30 & 7 p.m.
See a performance of "The Starry Messenger" by Galileo himself; 7:30 p.m., Museum of Fine Arts auditorium.
View the lunar eclipse through telescopes set up on the Quadrangle green. If it's cloudy, a webcast of the eclipse will be shown in the Science Museum; 8-11 p.m..
Meet Galileo in person as he roams the Science Museum galleries, 8:30-11 p.m.
