May Museums à la Carte

The Springfield Museums at the Quadrangle will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in May. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. in the Museum of Fine Arts.
May 3 - The Majestic Theater Celebrates its Tenth Anniversary; Danny Eaton, producing director, The Majestic.
May 10 - America's First Landscape Painters: The Hudson River School; Louise Minks, artist, author and historian.
May 17 - Libraries of the Ancient World, Christina Gibbons, lecturer
May 24 - Exploring and Sharing the World of Opera II; Ron Luchsinger, artistic director, Commonwealth Opera
May 31 - The Architecture of Malta; John Martin, professor emeritus, University of Massachusetts, Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning.
Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market. Visitors are invited to bring lunch to enjoy during the program; cookies and coffee are provided.
