March Museums a la Carte

The Springfield Museums at the Quadrangle will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in March. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. in the Museum of Fine Arts.

March 1 - King Philip's War in the Pioneer Valley; Stephen R. Jendrysik, local historian.
March 8 - New England Landscapes in Fabric; Ann Brauer, quilt artist.
March 15 - Paddy on the Railway: Irish Laborers on the Western Railways; Dennis Picard, director, Storrowton Village.
March 22 - The Splendor of the Southwest: Redrocks and Southern Utah; Jack Megas, astronomer and group travel leader.
March 29 - Pure White Sound: Handel, Julius Caesar and Opera's Heroic Eunuchs; Charles B. Hayward, art historian.
Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market. Visitors are invited to bring lunch to enjoy during the program; cookies and coffee are provided.
