This richly illustrated lecture series examines the history of Western art and architecture.

·          France: Renaissance & Rococo, Northern Renaissance & Holland, Italy: the Baroque, England: 17th & 18th centuries.

·          The Industrial Revolution, the emergence of Gothic and Greek architectural revival styles.  Art revival: Neoclassical, Pre-Raphaelites, Impressionism; Victorian gardens.

·          The 20th and 21st centuries: the Modern Movement, International style, the Bauhaus and Frank Lloyd Wright.
