F29. Portrait Drawing

Mondays, 6-8:30 pm

Working from a photo reference of your choice (you learn to take a great photo in the first class) learn to draw the image to perfection from start to finish. Lessons include portrait set-up, anatomy (head/face, eyes, nose, mouth, ears), starting a drawing, the structure, and shading techniques. Supply list provided.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Christina Mastrangelo: B.A. in Studio Art from James Madison University’s Honors Program Christina is a classically trained artist who recently moved back to the area after living and studying art for three years in Florence Italy. She graduated from the Fundamental Program at the Angel Academy of Rat in 2009, the same year she was honored with the second place in the Worldwide ARC Scholarship competition for her achievements as artist and teacher.
