The Watershed on Wheels (WoW) Express is a unique traveling exhibit developed by the Silvio O. Conte National Fish and Wildlife Refuge (Conte Refuge), which encompasses the 7.2 million acre Connecticut River watershed. The WoW Express arrives in two trailers. The larger trailer (28 feet) invites visitors to walk through a diversity of habitats and view wildlife found within the watershed. The smaller trailer (16 feet) holds 7 exhibit kiosks and one watershed table, each of which is pulled out and set up on the ground. Visitors to the WoW Express learn about the Conte Refuge, the Connecticut River watershed, and the interconnections between nature and people.  During their experience, they discover ways to “do something little and be part of something big” to protect the Connecticut River and its many assets.
