New! Living Within the Connecticut River Watershed
Did you know the Connecticut River is home to over two million people as well as 5,000 species of plants, insects, fish and animals?  Students will discover the history and diversity of the river through class demonstrations, activities and a visit with three live native species of reptiles from the Springfield Science Museum’s Live Animal Center. They will learn that they play a significant role in keeping the Connecticut River Watershed healthy and thriving.
