Explore the rich history of China through this renowned Chinese art collection. Students will view authentic artifacts including a jade burial suit, silk robes and cloisonné. Curriculum connections include geography, symbolism, vocabulary/concept development, discussion skills, silk production and Confucianism. Students have a mini tai chi lesson, learn their Chinese zodiac sign and try their hands at calligraphy.
