Children discover the man behind the stories—Springfield native Theodor Seuss Geisel—through a slideshow and interactive activities. Identify some whimsical Seuss illustrations and learn what real-life Springfield landmarks inspired their creation. To conclude this Seuss celebration, students make their very own Cat in the Hat hats.
