SPECIAL EXHIBIT
GUITAR: The Instrument That Rocked The World, 10 am-5 pm
The guitar is the single most enduring icon in American history. This fully immersive exhibition gives visitors an opportunity to interact with the guitar from the historical perspective, focusing on its evolution and design, the music that guitars have helped to create, and the continued improvements in guitar technology. Featuring more than 60 instruments from the rare and antique to the wildly popular and innovative, along with performance video and audio, hands-on interactives, touch screens, and photographs. $3 special fee for all visitors ages 3 and up in addition to museum admission. LIVE PERFORMANCE
Mister G presents the Chocolalala Concert, 1 pm
Over the past few years, Mister G has been traveling and performing original, bilingual songs for children in Latin America and around the USA. His new bilingual CD, Chocolalala, is an irresistible collection of these songs, blending Latin rhythms, traditional instruments, and Mister G's uniquely catchy song-writing for children. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind dance party. Bailamos! Seating is limited.
