Native American Harvest Festival
October 6th, 10:00 am - 4:00 pmGeneral Museum Event
Free event on the Quadrangle Green!
Live Performances; 10 am-noon & 1-4 pm
Traditional drumming, singing, and dancing featuring Turtle Moon Drum.
Craft Vendors; 10 am–4 pm
Display, sale and demonstration of crafts and foods by Native American artisans and vendors, including jewelry, moccasins, herb and honey products, and traditional clothing. Craft raffle, 3 pm.
Artifact Identification; 11 am-noon & 1-2 pm
Have an unusual find? Experts will be on hand to identify your mystery object.
- Children’s Games. Test your hand-eye coordination with a variety of traditional games. 10 am-noon; 1-3 pm.
- Native American Hall. Tour the museum gallery and view local artifacts. Additional fee. 10 am-5 pm, Springfield Science Museum.
- Planetarium Shows. Additional fee. 11:15 am, noon, 1 & 2 pm; Springfield Science Museum.
Co-presented by the Connecticut River Inter-Tribal Council.
