Special Exhibition
The Art of the Brick and the Brick Lab
D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts/Science Museum
Some artists use paint, others bronze—but Nathan Sawaya builds his awe-inspiring sculptures out of LEGO toy bricks. See 29 whimsical three-dimensional works created from nearly one million color pieces. Then head over to the Brick Lab and create your own. $5 combined special exhibit fee for all visitors ages 3 and up. Learn more.
Special Performance
D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts, 1 pm
The Physical Science Show with Jeff Danger, Science Ranger – Learn the basics of many important scientific ideas with flabbergasting demonstrations of natural forces, including gyroscopes and the "helmet of doom", the Bernoulli Effect and gator eyeballs, flying balloon helicopters, Morse Code telegraph key and SOS, robots, solar energy demo, the Zero-Blaster, and the science of sound.
