Bring black holes down to earth
Discover how the latest research is turning science fiction into science fact. Mary E. Dussault, astronomy educator with the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and project director for Black Holes: Space Warps & Time Twists, will lead an informal presentation on the modern search for real black holes— the most mysterious and powerful objects in the universe.

About Black Holes
Co-designed by teens and presented as a space mission, this exhibition combines interactive computer stations and challenges with the latest scientific research.
Throughout the exhibit, students record and collect images, video, data, predictions and conclusions using an Explorer’s Card with a unique barcode for a personalized web journal they can use at school or at home.
