Matching Gifts

Increase the value of your contribution to the Springfield Museums with a Corporate Matching Gift. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will any charitable contribution made by their employees in order to provide support in their communities.

Gifts to the Collections

One of the most important ways that Museums build their collections is through the generosity of private collectors and benefactors who donate their treasured works of art, historical artifacts, or scientific collections to the Museums for the benefit of future generations.


In–kind Gifts

The Museums are grateful for the donation of goods or professional services, however small. Recent in-kind donations have included things such as rubber gloves and trash bags for the annual Earth Day Clean-Up, printing of invitations, holiday decorations, refreshments and more.

A bequest or charitable trust to the Springfield Museums provides an enduring legacy and will help to ensure the long-term financial stability of the Museums and the Dr. Seuss Sculpture Garden.


The Springfield Museums often receive gifts from Members and donors that are made in memory or in honor of a loved one. Tributes may be designated in support of collections funds in the individual Museums, special projects, scholarships to the Museum School, or other projects. Tributes are fully tax deductible.
