Host Your Event

The Springfield Museums would love to host your special event. We can accommodate small groups and larger functions. Each event is especially tailored to provide a memorable and pleasurable experience. Let our Special Events Coordinator help you choose a location in one of our four stellar Museums or outside on our private lawns, surrounded by whimsical Dr. Seuss sculptures.

From private cocktail receptions or full scale dinners to conference meeting rooms – let us help you entertain your clients, colleagues and friends. We can streamline your event from start to finish by providing all amenities, including: catering and food selections from a list of our approved caterers; full cocktail bars; outdoor tents; music and live entertainment; photographers; valet parking for your guests; and even private lectures by our esteemed Museum Directors. Rental fees vary based on space selection, times selected and the number of participants. The rates are determined at the time of rental in consultation with the Springfield Museums' Event Coordinator.

Birthday Parties

Looking for a unique birthday experience? The Springfield Museums offer two-hour Birthday Parties for children ages 4-12 on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Led by an experienced instructor in a private, decorated room, activities relate to one of five themes: Amazing Animals, Dynamic Dinosaurs, Journey Into Space, On the Loose with Dr. Seuss, and Asian Art Adventures.
